Kerry & Mike Martyr are your Mammoth Lakes local hosts.
Kerry is an artist who draws much of her inspiration from the natural beauty of her mountain home. Her favorite experiences are: hikes around the the Lakes Basin, Friends of the Inyo’s walks with scientists, the Mono Lakes Committee’s annual Bird Chautaqua, and the watching the leaves change color in the fall. The environmental diversity of the Eastern Sierra is unmatched and there are endless ways to get out and enjoy it!
Mike takes every opportunity to get outdoors and risk his neck recreating in the mountains. His most remarkable experiences include: climbing up and bailing off grade VI routes on El Cap, kayaking through and swimming under class 5 rapids on Kern river, hitting jumps and breaking ribs on jumps in the bike park, skiing on snow and being buried under snow on Mammoth Mountain.
