We (Jerri and Steve) looked for over 9 months for the perfect retreat within a few hours from our home in Marietta, GA. Many of the places we looked at were down dirt or gravel roads (some even down paths :-). We fell in love with Just Bearly the day we found it in February 2003 when construction was almost complete. There is a paved road all the way back to our little community that borders the Chattahoochee National Forest. We are minutes away from Brasstown Bald (Georgia's highest elevation), Appalachian Trail, Blood Mountain Archaeological Area, Vogel State Park, Lake Nottley, Lake Chatuge, Brasstown Valley Resort, Waterfalls, Flea Markets. Our cabin is located just off Hwy. 76 between Blairsville and Young Harris. 10 minutes (at the most) from great restaurants, shops, entertainment, Hidden Jerri is a Realtor, so customer service is a #1 PRIORITY! We have been so blessed with many repeat guests and excellent reviews.
