Once you have synced your calendars correctly, you should be all set!

Calendar synchronization with Houfy
If you list your place on Houfy and other websites, you can prevent multiple guests from booking the same dates by syncing your Houfy calendar with your other calendars. The "correct" way of Synchronizing Calendars: (assuming 3 sites) EXPORT Airbnb + VRBO and IMPORT into Houfy EXPORT Houfy + VRBO and IMPORT into Airbnb EXPORT Airbnb + Houfy and IMPORT into VRBO TIP: When doing this, keep the browser tabs open.

DANGER: You are listed on Tripadvisor, Airbnb, VRBO and Houfy; above example shows just 3 sites. (Airbnb, VRBO and Houfy) The screenshot below 4 sites! Make sure you have everything synced correctly.

Houfy says: can NOT import this link?

Most probably, you copied the wrong link, you might have copied the url in the browser. Please read the above document. ALL larger marketplaces have proper synchronization set up through specific export and import links. (.ics files) - These do not show in the browser.

I'm blocking dates on VRBO but they do not show on Houfy?

Please make sure you have VRBO synced into Houfy.

I added a reservation on Houfy ("Add Booking") but it doesn't show on Airbnb?

Did you import Houfy into Airbnb? Please make sure you did. Airbnb can not get any data from Houfy if you did not import the Houfy calendar into Airbnb.

What does the little sync button do?

The little sync button fetches data from the linked website. As far as I know, only Houfy, Airbnb and Tripadvisor have this.

How do I delete a calendar from Houfy?

Log In > My Listings > Select property > Calendar

I am trying to sync my Vacation Rental's google calendar with houfy, and although it has synced, it adds a day for "check out" when I already have 10 am for check out the day before, I need to have this, so that I can do a check out at 10 am and a check in at 4pm. Especially in peak summer from June to Sept. I've tried formatting how I'm submitting the dates on my end, to no avail. Particularly, Aug 8, which is when the guest is checking out, on my google calendar I now have nothing, because on certain platforms, if I do, it shows the entire day as "no vacancy." However on your calendar, it is blocking that whole day and the next???
