As for staying with us, we request you please have your dogs nails trimmed before arrival. If you&#x27;re flying, know that there are bowls, beds and other doggie amenities available. We&#x27;d be working with you so as to make sure &quot;Fido&quot; has food on hand and will be comfy.If you&#x27;re driving, you&#x27;re likely bringing your own bowls and beds etc. but there&#x27;s more on hand.**Glenn House Only** There&#x27;s also large and small rugs available should you want those. I keep them more as dog rugs as it became such a problem cleaning them and getting all the fur out between guests that did and didn&#x27;t have dogs. Instructions where to find them are in the Handy Dandy Manual! **Glenn House Only** The backyard is very safe for all size dogs. Of course, we can&#x27;t guarantee they can&#x27;t escape but you&#x27;ll see that this would be a difficult proposition for even those escape artists some of you have! We do NOT recommend ever leaving any dog unattended in the front yard. It is not secure and any passerby could also simply unlatch the gate and run off with your dog. It&#x27;s also just a short picket fence that many dogs could easily get out from. Don&#x27;t let a happy vacation become a tragedy.

Also remember, your dog needs to be on a leash at all times when outside of the properties.THE park I direct our Guests to is Brandi Fenton Memorial Park at River and Dodge. It is so simple and quick to access from either VR and has off-leash areas for both little and big guys. It&#x27;s also got walking paths, lots of green grass, soccer fields, basketball, equestrian stuff and multiple entries to &quot;The Loop&quot; where you could take your buddy on a 131-mile continuous walk!

Not for a few minutes -- not for a few seconds. NEVER, EVER AT ALL. There&#x27;s simply no variables and I&#x27;m sure that&#x27;s so there&#x27;s no discrepancies or misunderstandings as temps can rise to dangerous and fatal levels so very quickly here. Need I add you don&#x27;t leave children unattended in cars either? EVER.

Grooming.  I&#x27;ve been happy with Petsmart Grooming just over at Swan and Grant.  We&#x27;ve never had a bad grooming by anybody but Renee

Grooming. I&#x27;ve been happy with Petsmart Grooming just over at Swan and Grant. We&#x27;ve never had a bad grooming by anybody but Renee is our favorite for our Emily a little shih tzu. They&#x27;ll trim your dogs nails as a walk-in for about $10. Not bad at all!

She&#x27;s close by either Glenn or Garcia House and I think you can even lodge your dog there for a night or two. That I&#x27;m not positive about as you might need to be a regular at the clinic for that. Anyway, they&#x27;re terrific over there and you&#x27;d get wonderful care close by.

Speedway. 520-327-5624 is their number and if you can, call ahead or while you&#x27;re on your way, to let them know the nature of the emergency so they can prepare for your arrival. From Glenn or Garcia House, get yourself over to Alvernon, make a right going south to Speedway and a left at Speedway. Remain in the right hand lane and follow the addresses until you reach them soon after you&#x27;ve crossed over Swan Road.

We're Fran and Charlie Garcia and have lived in the Tucson metro area for most of our adult lives.  We LOVE Tucson and especially midtown as it's so convenient to get to all the great venues, restaurants and attractions that Tucson has to offer.  This apartment is attached to our home but we're highly sensitive to your privacy and recognize that you don't come to Tucson to visit us.  There's only the two of us here but we do have a Guest House with a very long-term tenant in there on the far other side of the property.  Charlie has been at his job for over thirty years and in all those years has never called in sick or been late to work!  Fran works out of the home and runs the VRs .
