Helwig Olive Oil and Wine Soap
This artisan, hand-made soap can be found in each of our full baths. The soap is made using olive oil sourced from the orchard located on the property of Helwig Winery. Olive oil soap is gentle and nourishing, perfect to rebalance skin dealing with our dry mountain air. This soap is lightly scented with essential oils, and contains a splash of Helwig wine for a luxurious lather and a boost of antioxidants.
Full size bars of soap and other fantastic products made from Helwig olive oil can be found at the Helwig Winery tasting room. Plan to stay a while and enjoy a tasting of their delicious wines in their facility overlooking the rolling hills of the Shenandoah Valley. And then you will need to pick up a bag of house-made potato chips at The Kitchen right next to the tasting room - trust us on this one... you'll thank us later!
Coffee from Sutter Creek Coffee Roasting Company
This premium coffee is carefully sourced and roasted to order in small batches at this woman-owned roastery. The attention to detail is apparent from your first sip - everything that we have tried has been well-balanced, smooth and delicious.
You'll find a supply of coffee for your first pot in the kitchen cupboard, along with filters for the coffeemaker and sweeteners. If you get hooked on this coffee like we have, you can stock up for your trip home at various local retail establishments listed here. You can also order from the online store; your coffee will ship out the same day it is roasted so you can be confident it will arrive on your doorstep at peak freshness!
