Whatever your status IN the world of horses - you are in for a treat!

The Tryon area, in the foothills of North Carolina, has long been known for attracting horse lovers - beautiful farms surround the area, which includes the North Carolina towns of Tyron and Columbus and the South Carolina town of Landrum.

Several years ago - along with the established FENCE horse shows and the riding system around Tryon, the Tryon International Equestrian Center broke ground.

Every year - from late March to November - there are exciting horse events to watch: Eventing, Polo, Show Hunters, Hunter Derbies - and the now famed "Saturday Night Lights" - free to the public - the best of the exciting sport of world class "Show Jumping" .

The Equestrian venue which is 6.5 miles from DLB Farm house - has multiple restaurants and activities for the young.

The towns of Tryon, Columbus and Landrum offer real world home town food, charm, antiques, art and are worth a visit, as is Lake Lure and Asheville, only 47 miles away.

Come, enjoy -
