We discovered Northport in the early 80's and found it to be one of the most picturesque and relaxing places around. After years of visiting we made the decision to purchase our own home. Though it's a long drive for us, we find it to be worth every minute. The quaint village of Northport and neighboring towns are perfect for our family and friends. This is a great escape from the hectic city life of Chicago.
Our location is perfect. We have just the right balance of proximity to town while also enjoying the seclusion of being nestled in the trees. After spending time in other areas, we appreciate being able to use the water and not worry about currents or waves. Calm, peaceful, safe, friendly, and just simply beautiful!
