The cabin is in a mountainous area and the wifi can be intermittent especially if thunderstorms, high winds, or rain. We have the fastest speed offered in our area. We are on the waiting list to get internet through Elon Musk. This is the best available service until a better option becomes available.

Please be patient if the connection is not as fast as you are used to in the city. The internet should not be relied upon if you need to work from home, attend online school, or participate in video conferencing and need to meet deadlines.

If the interent does go out, your group should use your mobile hotspots. Should your group not have your own mobile hotspot/internet, there are local areas where the public can connect to wifi. The Ingles grocery store/cafe is very close to the cabin.

Your Wifi Password will be on the laminated house notes document in the brochure holder near the coffee machine.

Note: the theater room does have some BluRays and you can use the theater room DVR to record movies. We have all the channels on Directv, including all of the movie channels.
