Hi we are Bev & Mike. We retired to Spain in 2006 to escape the hustle and bustle of life in the UK. Spain offers so much more - fantastic climate, amazing friendly locals, and a laid back way of life that suits us just fine.

Bev worked for 30 years in the Financial Sector managing major IT Projects.
Mike was a marketing manager for a leading scientific glassware company.
Married for over 40 years, no kids - but we have 3 fur-babies. All rescued street cats that decided we were a much better option than living on the street!
Originally from Manchester, we bought a house in Spain to retire to which is located in a small Spanish village. However, it's old! So we are constantly working on lots of 'reformas' to make it into a place where we can relax and enjoy in our retirement.

You have to try the experience that is El Patio.
It's a paradise for those that love a barbecue - but not especially vegetarian friendly.
