Though I live in the Madrona area for the past three years, this will be my first trip out of the city area and look forward to this journey that I am heading. This is my first time on the west coast specifically the PNW! the second I stepped off the plane I fell in love. I work as an IT contractor for RIOT games in Bellevue. I'm originally from New York, Brooklyn Fort Greene area, then a major move to Staten Island in the early 70's. By 17 I was working as an electrical apprentice. I stayed in the field for eight years, then found my way to a plumbing firm that hired me for low voltage wiring for thermostats and furnaces, electric hot water heaters. By 1989 I found myself working for an IT firm pulling network cabling for NYC offices and building out computer systems. My electrical background then led me to teaching in the NYC school system. I transitioned to academia as a High School electrical teacher for the next three years. All the while staying attached to the IT field which I enjoy
