Aloha! I have been a long time visitor to the Big Island of Hawaii and finally made the big move last year to make this island paradise my home. I grew up in New England but have embraced the northern California lifestyle for most of my life. I'm a fine artist painter and teacher. The tropical beauty and raw nature of Hawaii inspires me and I am passionate about sharing that inspiration with others. I also love living where it's summer all year round! Being on an island reminds one to be conscious of the environment and to live in harmony with nature and others. I have traveled a lot and have stayed at many airbnb's world wide.
