Vacation Home
Derwent House is situated in the market town of Matlock, on the edge of the Peak District. The house is located next to the wonderful space of Hall Leys Park. The park is a wonderful space with children’s play facilities, boating lake, tennis courts, and in the spring and summer wonderful floral displays and of course the park café. Around the edge of the park, just a short walk from Derwent House are local pubs and bars, restaurants, varied shops and independent retailers.

The house is well equipped and furnished to provide our guests with a comfortable and relaxing stay. The house reflects the historic era of a Georgian town house with modern facilities. It makes an ideal places for a celebration, reunion or for families to come together, to spend time away, time together.

Derwent House is surrounded by the rolling hills and moors of Derbyshire and the Peak District with plenty of things to do for all ages. It is the perfect destination for a holiday, short break or weekend away, throughout the year. The central location of Derbyshire makes this a great location for meeting up with family and friends from different parts of the country.

We provide full access details 4 days before your stay. There is a key safe for easy access. We are located next door to Derwent House at Glendon, our Bed and Breakfast property, so on hand to assist as required.
