A car is recomended when staying at this home. With that being said, the neighborhood is very walkable. There is also a trail that parallels the Nisqually River within walking distance of the house.

Dogs We are happy to accommodate your dog. So that we may continue to allow dogs and keep a reasonable pet fee, we ask that you and your dog follow the below house rules. -Dogs are only allowed on hard surface areas of home (kitchen, family room). -Dogs may not go into the bedroom or loft. -While we'd prefer for dogs not to be on the sofa, we do provide a sofa cover in the closet that can be used if this is not possible for your dog. -Dogs must be crated if left unattended. -All excrement must be picked up outside. -Dog hair should be removed from all surfaces prior to your departure. -Dogs must be leashed when outsideNo smokingNo parties or eventsCheck-in is anytime after 4:00 PM

Refundable Damage Deposit

DAMAGES/CREDIT CARD AGREEMENT A $300 damage deposit hold will be placed 3 days before checkin. This hold will be released within three days of checkout. Guests accept all terms and conditions of the rental agreement and accept all liability for rent and charges related to property rental, as well as any damage beyond normal wear and tear during the term of the rental. Guests understand and authorize that these costs will be charged to the credit card provided. The guest whose credit card is on file is liable for all payments and damages on a reservation and is fully responsible for the full reservation rent and charges.
Charges can be made for the following reasons:
-To repair or replace anything that is damaged or missing
-To pay any and all charges accrued during your stay
-To change locks and replace all keys if any are lost (security key fob replacement cost up to $250 each)
-To cover excessive cleaning upon departure (i.e. stained carpets, furniture, walls, appliances, mattresses, etc.)
-To put the unit, and the things in it, in the condition when you moved in

Notes

Our home can accommodate up to two dogs, 2+ years old, upon approval. Please include age/breed of pet in your intro message. Pet fee does apply. We are not set up to host guests with cats or other animals. Pets must be registered with guests at time of booking. Unregistered pets incur a fee of $250. The hot water heater in our tiny house is sufficient for 1-2 showers before needing to reheat. If you’re traveling with more than 2 guests, it’s recommended to space showers apart. There are multiple locations in town to purchase firewood for the outdoor fire pit. We use the firewood vending machine outside of Jacob’s Barber. Due to the nature of our mountain location, our home may lose power during weather events. Outages typically last for 2-3 hours when this occurs. Flashlights and extra blankets are provided for these occurrences. When power is out, cooking options are limited. If a guest chooses to check out during a power outage, a refund of the nightly fee will be provided. Guests choosing to keep their reservation will be charged the full booking amount. While we have the fastest internet available, you will find that reliability and speed at the base of the mountain is not the same as you may experience in the city. There is a large collection of DVDs, games, and an amazing hot tub to pass the time should the internet be out. While infrequent, the shed on the side of the house may be accessed during the day by a staff member as this is where we keep supplies for the rest of our cabins. The hot tub is serviced Tuesday and Friday between 10:00 and 4:00. While it typically can be used 30 minutes after service is complete, if a water change is necessary, the hot tub will take 4-5 hours to reach the desired temperature.
