Hello, we are Sue and Steve Knowles who own and run Harling House Bed & Breakfast in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, in Northern England. The B&B is a short stroll to the village amenities for your evenings out, shops and cafes. Walks and hikes from the door include Ingleborough and the famous Ingleton Waterfalls Trail.

The nearest main line train stations are Bentham (Leeds to Lancaster line) or Ribblehead (Settle to Carlisle line). There is a bus stop within 200 yards and bases can be caught from Lancaster, Kirkby Lonsdale or Skipton.

Cancellation Policy

If the booking is cancelled less than 8 days before your expected arrival, (or a booking reduction is made), no refund of the deposit paid will be given unless we can re-let your room/s.
If the booking is cancelled less than 1 day/day of arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
We suggest that you take out travel insurance to cover your booking.
In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel a booking, the deposit will be refunded in full. We will only cancel a booking if the room is unavailable due to reasons outside our control.

Notes

We are pet-free (no worries about pets having been in the rooms if you have allergies) and accept children from age 11. Minimum 2 night stay - so you can explore and enjoy the area.
